Beside some manuals for usage only, the only substantial source I have is the latest Bulfer FMC User's Guide. This inspiring threat induced som actions on my site. Otherwise I agree with you in everything you've said. I have my trust in Prosim, their skills and vision, therefore I rarely say a few words but usually do only when the "revolutionists" do not seem to be able to calm down themselves, besides flooding the forum with often 10-15 messages a day, usually repeating the same words and sentences over and over again. Otherwise I dislike those posts that are filled by "wrong", "unrealistic", "fix it", "I mentioned this problem and nothing happened in three days", and similar types of messages, simply because they sound and are egoistic. Nice, informative and fruitful discussions do not need ranks and stripes. No, I'm also an ex-pilot, but would personally never do that. But they rarely or never "lecture" others, they rarely or never really criticize Prosim, simply because they have understood the flow and know that most of the time the developers are aware of their own mistakes, well before anyone else does.Īlthough I am a very infrequent poster on this platform, but I do regularly read the forum, that's why I'd be sad to see a sort of "class system" slowly becoming the normality, where there are the "real" and "all-knowing" pilots and the rest, who hang on their words, as if they came from above, as saviors.
If the young pilots come to this place to educate the people, it's not bad at all.Īt the same time, there are many users here who know at least as much as a young F/O does, if not more. Hope you also understand, I'm not against anything or anyone in this forum. I remember and also played a lot with PS1, learned a lot about the 747, a pity it didn't have any visuals. I do understand your intention to stand for ProSim.
